The Port Residence Licensed Restaurant...The Port Residence Licensed Restaurant is located in the historic Wharf Street area of Maryborough. Overlooking the Mary River Parklands, The Port Residence offers early Australian cuisine, fully licensed garden areas, and helpful and friendly service and information for our visitors to the local region. The Port Residence Restaurant operates in the old Custom's Residence House, which was built in the early 1900's. This magnificent, grand old building, has great views of the Mary River and Queens Park from upstairs dining to dining in the cool breeze on the lower verandah. We are situated between the Custom's House museum and the Bond Store museum. Just look for the big red brick wall. Wedding packages are available, including use of a Bride's Retreat, a 1st floor Conference Room with river views.
